Mika Orasmaa has won two Jussi awards (Finnish equivalent of the Oscar) for best Cinematography from CHRISTMAS STORY and RARE EXPORTS from which he also won Best Cinematography in Sitges 2010.
His latest films include Timo Vuorensola's commercial hit IRON SKY. Critically acclaimed crime story 8-BALL, directed by Aku Louhimies and a gangster drama ZARRA'S LAW, directed by Juha Wuolijoki, starring The Sopranos star Tony Sirico and Burt Young (Rocky, Chinatown).
Recently Orasmaa reunited with director Jalmari Helander on an action adventure BIG GAME, Starring Samuel L. Jackson, Ray Stevenson, Jim Broadbent, and Ted Levine.
